Cameron Diaz says she will probably never act again
It has now been seven years since Cameron Diaz (48) starred in ‘Annie’ – her last film for now – but it does not look like we can expect the actress to return to the silver screen soon. In an interview with SiriusXM, Cameron Diaz says she will probably never act again.
In August 2020, Cameron Diaz already said that she was relieved to stop acting. “I’m at peace with it. For the first time in my life, I really started taking care of myself, instead of rushing through life, ”Cameron told Goop Health: The Sessions, Gwyneth Paltrow’s online show.
Meanwhile, she informed SiriusXM’s Bruce Bozzi that she still hasn’t changed her mind. “Never say never, but I’m just not that type of person. So will I ever make another movie? At the moment I am not looking for a new role. Will I ever be looking? I do not know. I really have no idea.”
The right decision
Cameron Diaz explained in the interview why she made the choice at the time to stop acting. “Now that I’ve become a mom, I can’t imagine not being able to see my child fourteen hours a day, sometimes even sixteen hours, because I was on set. If I had, I would never have become the mother I am today. ”
The actress and her partner Benji Madden became parents to their daughter Raddix Madden just over a year ago. The announcement of her birth, which dates back to January 2020, came as a big surprise to the outside world.
